Toronto versus Philly has now turned into Philly versus Philly, courtesy of an onstage rant by Meek Mill. After Drake namedropped AR-Ab in his “Back To Back” rap onslaught against the MMG
rapper, the American rapper and fellow Philadelphia native Abdul West, known by his stage name AR-Ab expressed his disappointment in Meek’s on-wax reply, “Wanna Know.”
“I’m not even gonna lie,” AR-AB told Vlad TV following the track’s release. “After I heard it I’m thinking ‘This can’t be it.’ Meek come from Philly streets. I’m thinking there was gonna be some more shit than that.”
This commentary apparently did not go over well for Meek, who later took to the Pinkprint Tour stage with a few words for AR-Ab.
“How dare a Philly n***a d**k ride another ni**a from out of town,” Meek retorted.
Now, Meek Mill has another diss track aimed at his head, with AR-Ab taking on Drake’s “Back To Back” beat. Complete with threats of gunplay and jokes about his relationship with Nicki Minaj, Ab also affirmed what the Internet has long decided: “Why you dissin’ me, need to diss Drake/ That n***a killed you, First 48.”
