After firing back and forth disses at one another, the 28 year old Canadian rapper, singer and song writer, seemed to taunt Meek Mill, also a rapper and 28, by wearing a shirt that said, “Free Meek Mill,” referencing Meek’s 2014 jail sentence. Given the rappers’ recent feud, we get the sense that Drizzy wore the shirt to mock him more than anything!
While reviewing his set list for OVO fest on August 3, Drizzy was caught on video wearing a “Free Meek Mill” shirt, which has an old picture of Meek with braids. Meek served jail time from July-December 2014 for violating his probation, and Drake actually wore the shirt last summer to support him during one of his concerts! Oh, how things have changed. Now it seems like Drake is just having a good laugh at the rapper in the midst of their feud. Or perhaps he’s trying to mend fences? Either way, it’s totally shady that Drake wore the shirt.
It looks like Drake is continuing to not “take a loss all week!” After Meek fired back at Drake’s diss tracks by releasing “Wanna Know,” Drizzy threw subtle shade at the rapper in a new video, at a kickball game. When he was asked if he was “ready to take his loss” to LeBron James, Drake replied, “I haven’t taken a loss all week!” He didn’t directly refer to his feud with Meek, but after all the diss tracks, we’re sure that’s what he was referring to.
