What is potential? It is dormant ability, untapped power, unexposed ability, hidden strength, reserved energy, trapped capacity, unused success, unleashed talent, unattained greatness, untapped prospects, possibilities and opportunities. It includes connection and relationships you have but not yet maximized. It is all you can but haven’t done yet, all you can be but haven’t become yet, and who you really are but no one knows yet, (i.e., the undiscovered you).  

The God that we serve is called: OMNIPOTENT. The Word OMNI means: All, complete, total, or limitless. The Word POTENT means: Power: Force, Might, Energy or Ability. Therefore, the word “Omnipotent” can be rephrased to mean: All Potential, All Powerful, All Mighty, and All Able. Therefore, the first thing God did after he created Man and Woman was to BLESS THEM: He empowered them with amazing talent, exceptional gift and creative abilities so they can prosper in carrying out their mission. He planted in man a part of his own “POTENCY.”  You carry in YOU the Potential to CREATE the Kind of Future You Desire.

 6 Truths You Must Know About You Potential

1.      God is the source of your potentials. Whatever you can to add value to people’s lives is a gift from God. He has deposited amazing potentials in you.

2.      Your potentials include your UNTAPPED ABILITIES, TALENTS, GIFTS, DREAMS, and VISIONS. Your previous achievements can no longer be considered as your potential. Similarly, your past failures should not be used to judge your future potential. God is no more excited about what you have done neither is He bothered about what you couldn’t or failed to do. What matters to God is who you can still become and what you can still do.

3.      Your potential is never in the past, it is always what you can still do both now and in the future. Therefore, what you’ve lost cannot be your potential. What you have left is your true potential. Your FUTURE is not DECIDED by your PAST experiences but by your POTENTIAL. You can’t go forward looking backwards all the time. Let go of the past!

4.      Your potential is the key to creating and recreating the future you desire. You must never allow your present condition, position or situation keep you from uncovering, releasing and maximizing your potential. You can use what you do to create what you desire in life.

5.      Your potential is the key to your wealthy place. Your FINANCIAL future is hidden within your untapped potential – seed. You cannot ignore your potential and enjoy abundance. Joseph entered his wealthy place in Egypt when he decided to release his potential.

6.      Your potential is the key to your influence, relevance, and significance in any community. It must be used to ADD VALUE to someone else in order for it to be recognized, respected and rewarded.

You can turn your potential into a profitable service. Find the right platform to unleash your potential. Use it to do something you have never done before. You must be committed, courageous, focused and resilient as you put your potential to use. You will also need to build a special team of people with different gifts and talents around you and your potential. Do everything with excellence. Make sure that you have a Coach or Mentor: someone (who cannot be threatened or jealous by your Success) to guide and help you to become the best you ever can be. Above all, maintain a functional and unbroken relationship with God.
